About the journal

Belarusian Historical Review is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal. It was founded in 1994 as an independent academic periodical devoted to the history of Belarus aiming to contribute to renovation of Belarusian historiography by cultivating different approaches and maintaining methodological pluralism. Since 2019 the journal has been affiliated with the Centre for East European Studies at the University of Warsaw. It appears as a year volume in Belarusian language with English abstracts. Every volume contains original research articles, reviews and surveys, archive materials and information related to the current state of Belarusian historiography.

Any submission should be sent in electronic form by e-mail bhr@belhistory.eu

All submitted manuscripts undergo a peer review process before publication. Editors reserve the right to accept and edit, or reject a manuscript.

While preparing any manuscript, the authors are being asked to follow our guidelines (see the authors instruction).
